The University of Wolverhampton is ranked 6th in the UK for Business and Management (The Guardian University Guide 2025). In collaboration with the University, UK Management College offers the BA (Hons) Business Management with Foundation Year.
This programme provides a supportive entry route for students who may not meet standard entry requirements, enabling progression to an undergraduate degree in business management. Designed to develop analytical and evaluative skills for real-world application, the course explores key business functions—including management, marketing, human resources, finance, and operations—underpinned by the core themes of innovation, sustainability, responsibility, professionalism, and digitalisation.
Student progress is assessed through a combination of formal and informal methods aligned with module learning outcomes. Each module includes summative assessments, such as coursework, presentations, portfolios, and project reports, which contribute to the final module grade. Formative feedback is provided throughout the course to support learning and development prior to final assessment.
All modules are designed to integrate taught content, guided activities, independent study, and work-based tasks to ensure students develop the knowledge and skills required to meet assessment objectives. Written feedback is provided for all formal assessments, with additional verbal feedback offered where appropriate.
Applicants must hold qualifications equivalent to a minimum of 32 UCAS points. Typical offers include A Levels (EE), BTEC Level 3 Diploma (PP or above), or an Access to HE Diploma. International Baccalaureate requirements are to be confirmed.
UK Management College works in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton and adheres to its academic standards. Applicants to Business programmes must hold GCSE Mathematics at grade C or equivalent.
