Course Overview
This Construction Management degree provides the specialist skills needed to manage projects from design to completion. Learning is highly practical, with real-life case studies, site visits, and industry guest speakers.
You’ll gain the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, on budget, and to high quality standards, while building knowledge in key areas such as measurement, building performance, design, and buildability. The course also develops strong analytical and problem-solving skills, preparing you for professional roles across the construction industry.
Assessment
Written Assessment: 350 words reflective essay.

Assessments throughout the course
You will be assessed through essays, reports, simulations, presentations, projects, and group debates, allowing you to demonstrate key construction management skills. Independent study – such as research, homework, and group work – is essential, with guidance provided throughout.
Assessment methods are reviewed annually and may change based on student or External Examiner feedback.
Entry Requirements
Applicants Must be Aged 18+ and:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification (60 credits or 80 UCAS points)
- Have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or CEFR B1
- Complete an interview assessing listening, speaking, numeracy, and writing
Applicants Aged 21+:
- Applicants without standard qualifications may be considered if they can show commitment and relevant experience. An interview assessing listening, speaking, and writing is required.
