Course Overview
In a complex and competitive global business environment, a strong understanding of business fundamentals is essential. Our HND in Business develops confident, proactive leaders with the skills to manage organisations effectively across all sectors.
You will gain practical and theoretical knowledge through research, independent study, and real-world workplace scenarios, giving you a competitive edge in the job market.
This course is ideal for students completing Levels 4 and 5 who plan to progress to a one-year university top-up to achieve a full undergraduate degree.

There are no formal examinations for this course. Assessment is carried out through a range of methods, including presentations, written assignments, case study analysis, reports, and portfolios of evidence.
You will be expected to complete research, homework, and group work in your own time. Self-study is essential to your success, and lecturers will provide guidance throughout the course to support your independent learning.
Entry Requirements
Applicants Must be Aged 18+ and:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification or an Access to Higher Education certificate
- Demonstrate English proficiency (GCSE grade 4/C or CEFR B2). Applicants without this qualification may complete an English test at a university campus
- Successfully pass an academic interview
Applicants Aged 21+:
- Applications are welcome from candidates who do not meet the standard entry requirements but can demonstrate commitment to study and relevant academic, professional, or vocational experience. English proficiency requirements still apply.
