Course Overview
This programme builds your commercial awareness, global business knowledge, and professional skills, making it suitable for anyone seeking a recognised postgraduate qualification – no prior Business degree or work experience required.
You will explore how organisations operate in rapidly changing global environments and develop strong research and practical management skills to tackle real-world business challenges.
Teaching is inclusive and collaborative, with accessible learning resources and supportive learning communities.
Please note: this course is not available at our Leeds campuses for the June 2025 intake.
Assessment
Written Assessment: 500 words personal statement

Assessments throughout the course
You will be assessed through a range of methods, including essays, reports, simulations, presentations, projects, and group debates, allowing you to demonstrate key computing management skills.
Independent study – such as research, homework, and group tasks – is an essential part of the course, supported by guidance from lecturers.
Assessment methods are reviewed annually and may be updated based on student feedback, subject developments, or recommendations from an External Examiner, who ensures academic standards are maintained.
Entry Requirements
Applicants with a UK or majority English-speaking country degree (awarded within the last 5 years):

- Minimum 2:2 degree
- 500-word personal statement
Applicants with an overseas degree (within 5 years):
- On-campus interview
- Minimum 2:2 degree
- 300-word personal statement
- CEFR B2 English
- 1,000-word reflective task
- APEL process
Applicants without a degree or with a degree over 5 years old
