Foundation Year
You will develop essential academic, communication, and research skills while exploring key areas of business such as entrepreneurship, finance, and the global environment. Real-world case studies help you build confidence and understand the foundations of an entrepreneurial mindset.
Year One
You will gain core knowledge in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, and business strategy. Modules in project management and change leadership provide practical tools for navigating innovation and managing risk.
Year Two
You will apply your learning to real business challenges, exploring intrapreneurship, digital marketing, and venture finance. You will create a business plan, pitch it to a panel, and examine how social entrepreneurship can address societal issues.
Final Year
You will develop advanced skills by analysing global value chains, conducting market research, and engaging with current debates in entrepreneurship.
Written Assessment: 350 words reflective essay.

OPT Exemptions
Qualifications must be L3 or above.
Subject cannot be Maths, Foreign Language, Adult Numeracy/Literacy, ESOL.
Assessments throughout the course
The course uses real-world, practical assessments that let you apply your own business ideas and receive detailed feedback to improve them. You will be assessed through essays, reports, simulations, presentations, projects and group debates, giving you the chance to demonstrate a broad range of business skills. Independent study is essential, and you will complete research, homework and group tasks outside of class. Assessment methods are reviewed annually and may change in response to student or External Examiner feedback to ensure they remain fair and effective.
